RECOMMENDED TOOLS

The tools behind better work.

A practical, growing library of the platforms I use, recommend, teach, test, or keep in the stack across marketing, AI, content, operations, ecommerce, publishing, and creative work.

Real-world useOrganized by job to be donePaid relationships clearly disclosed

EMAIL MARKETING & CRM

Turn attention into a relationship.

AI & AUTOMATION

Build systems that actually reduce work.

CURRENT TOOL

ChatGPT

ChatGPT is most valuable to me when it stops being a blank chat box and becomes part of the operating system. I use it for research, analysis, writing, planning, connected workflows, and the kind of multi-step work that would otherwise live across too many tabs, documents, and half-finished lists.

DATABASES & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Keep the work findable, connected, and moving.

CURRENT TOOL · REFERRAL LINK

Airtable

Airtable is most useful to me when a spreadsheet is no longer enough but a full custom software build would be overkill. I use it to turn scattered information into connected systems, dashboards, workflows, and operating layers that can actually support the work instead of becoming another place to store it.

Relationship disclosure: This is my Airtable referral link. If you are a qualifying new Airtable user or collaborator who signs up or accepts through it, I may receive $10 in Airtable account credit.

BUSINESS & SAAS

The operating layer behind the business.

CURRENT TOOL · NON-COMPENSATED RECOMMENDATION

Metricool

Metricool is the social-operations layer I use when one brand becomes five and "just post it manually" stops being a strategy. It gives me one place to manage publishing, review schedules, compare performance, and keep multiple brands moving without pretending every account needs the same content.

Relationship note: I use and recommend Metricool, but I do not currently have an affiliate or referral relationship with Metricool. This is an ordinary direct link.

CURRENT TOOL

Google Workspace

Google Workspace is the boring infrastructure that becomes essential once the work gets complicated. Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet give me a shared operating layer for communication, files, scheduling, collaboration, and the constant handoff between ideas and actual work.

CURRENT TOOL · PAID ZOOM PRO

Zoom Workplace Pro

Zoom is still one of the tools I rely on when the work has to happen live: meetings, trainings, workshops, interviews, and the handoff between scheduling and actually showing up in the room. I keep it because it is familiar to participants, dependable enough for professional use, and connected to the rest of the workflow.

Relationship note: I am a current paid Zoom Workplace Pro customer. I do not currently have an affiliate or referral relationship with Zoom, and this is an ordinary direct link.

VIDEO & CONTENT CREATION

Create faster without making everything look the same.

CURRENT TOOL

Canva

Canva is one of the fastest ways to move from an idea to something usable without turning every asset into a full design-production project. I use it for brand systems, presentations, social content, guides, worksheets, and the everyday creative work that needs to look intentional without slowing everything else down.

HAS USED

Descript

Descript is useful when the bottleneck is editing rather than recording. Its text-based workflow makes it easier to clean up audio and video, repurpose longer content, create clips, and get from a rough recording to something publishable without living inside a traditional timeline editor.

CURRENT TOOL

Loom

Loom is what I reach for when the explanation is easier to show than to write. A quick screen recording can replace a long email, preserve context around a website or workflow, and let someone watch on their own time instead of scheduling another meeting.

WEBSITES & ECOMMERCE

Build, sell, publish, and keep improving.

CURRENT TOOL · SHOPIFY PARTNER

Shopify

Shopify is the platform I reach for when the website also has to behave like a real business system: products, checkout, digital offers, content, customer journeys, and room to keep improving the experience without rebuilding the entire operation every time the business evolves.

Relationship disclosure: I am a Shopify Partner, with Adelante Media as the associated partner organization. I may receive Partner compensation when I create and build an eligible client store through Shopify's Partner workflow and then transfer that store to the merchant. This page uses Shopify's ordinary site link; the link itself is not a tracked referral link.

CURRENT TOOL

Jetpack for WordPress

For WordPress sites, Jetpack is useful because it puts several practical site-management functions in one ecosystem instead of turning every need into another disconnected plugin. I currently use it in the workflow around AliciaForChange.com, including the publishing and AI-assisted site-management layer.

CURRENT TOOL · REFERRAL LINK

SiteGround

SiteGround is part of the less glamorous side of running websites that matters a lot when something breaks: hosting, WordPress management, backups, updates, and the infrastructure underneath the pages people actually see. I currently use it for WordPress hosting, including AliciaForChange.com.

Relationship disclosure: This is my SiteGround customer referral link. If a qualifying new customer signs up through it, I may receive up to 3 months of free hosting credit. That benefit is hosting credit, not a cash commission.

ANALYTICS, SEO & RESEARCH

Make better decisions with better signals.

CURRENT TOOL

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is still one of the places I go when I need to stop guessing and see what people are actually doing. I use it to understand traffic, journeys, key events, campaign performance, and whether the marketing story I think I am telling matches what the data says.

CURRENT TOOL

vidIQ

vidIQ is useful when YouTube strategy needs more than intuition. I use it to look at keywords, channel and video performance, breakout content, audience signals, and the patterns behind what is actually getting watched so the next video decision has more evidence behind it.

CREATOR, PUBLISHING & MEDIA

Tools for getting the work out into the world.

CURRENT TOOL · MEDIUM PARTNER PROGRAM

Medium

Medium gives me a place for longer-form ideas that deserve more room than a social post and another distribution channel for writing that can reach readers beyond my own sites. I think of it less as a replacement for owned publishing and more as an additional room where the work can travel.

Relationship disclosure: I participate in the Medium Partner Program and may earn money from eligible stories I publish there. This ordinary link to Medium is not an affiliate link, and that creator relationship does not determine what I recommend.

HOW SOMETHING EARNS A SPOT

Useful first. Monetizable second.

This is not a directory of every tool with a partner program. It is a working library built around actual use, informed testing, and whether a tool earns its place in the work.

Real-world signalI use it now, have used it enough to know its limits, teach it, or have tested it deliberately. Evaluation-stage tools stay off the public list.
Fit before payoutAn affiliate or partner program does not buy placement. A useful tool can appear with no financial relationship at all.
Relationship clarityAffiliate, referral, partner, creator-payment, and other material relationships are tracked separately and disclosed when they matter.
Rechecked over timeProducts, links, programs, pricing, and my own workflows change. A recommendation can be revised, paused, or removed when the evidence changes.
